Land Transport Authority (LTA) and TransitLink have partnered with the various payment schemes to introduce contactless payments on trains and buses.
With SimplyGo, you can use your contactless bank cards% or Mastercard/Visa cards added to the mobile wallet# immediately* for fare payments. No registration or application is required!
You can simply take the card out of your wallet, tap and go. You will no longer have to make upfront top-ups or carry a separate travel card, and your train and bus fares will be processed and charged to your bank account or credit/debit card bill directly.
From 28 January 2021, commuters will also be able to update their current EZ-link cards+ or purchase a new account-based EZ-Link card to be onboard SimplyGo.
What’s more, register for an account on the TransitLink SimplyGo Portal, available online and via the award-winning TL SimplyGo app, to keep track of your travel expenditure and history easily and conveniently, anytime and anywhere!
You would be able to enjoy the convenience of tracking your journey and fare history via the TransitLink SimplyGo Portal or TL SimplyGo app. Other services on the Portal include submitting of travel claims and viewing of claim status.
Mastercard, Visa, NETS Tap, and account-based EZ-Link card holders can also opt to receive push notifications for travel fares and claim approvals using the TL SimplyGo mobile app on their smartphones.
